Manchester-based four-piece Everything Everything bring experimentation and ambition back to pop music, with a heavy dose of wit and intelligence on their forthcoming full-length “Get To Heaven.”  This highly anticipated album was produced by the legendary British producer Stuart Price (Pet Shop Boys, Madonna, New Order) and is due for release this summer in North America. The first single taken from “Get To Heaven” is “Distant Past.”

“Distant Past” is as bold and infectious as it is thought provoking. The single “is about primal human nature, and no matter how far we progress in our civilizations, we can never escape it,” explains Jonathan Higgs, the band’s lead singer and chief lyricist. Higgs also directed the official video for “Distant Past” which premiered today on VEVO.

The Mercury Music Prize and Ivor Novello nominees also announced they will be performing the new material live this April in London and Manchester, and plan to bring their live set to North America later this year. More details to come.
