Expanding on their gorgeous, refined pop sound, GEMS have crafted another beautifully romantic tune with “Scars.” The DC-based duo have developed their own brand of intoxicating, cinematic ethereal pop that is at once, both deeply heartbreaking and romantic. The four tracks on their most recent Medusa EP weave a dark web of intimate male and female vocals, hazy guitars and lush synthesizers, with songs that are tragic, haunting, and tinged with melancholy and existential longing, and is just the start for this band on the rise.

GEMS are also excited to announce US tour dates supporting Hundred Waters and performances at this year’s Underground Music Showcase and Hopscotch Music Festival.  Be sure to check them out at a city near you.
