Swedish soul-pop singer/songwriter Erik Hassle has released his brand new EP entitled “Somebody’s Party” on Record Company Ten/RCA Records to rave reviews.

The first track released from his EP Talk About It,described by Pigeons and Planes as a song that “touched on the hardships of being in a relationship with someone that means everything to you,” was praised as “one of the fiercest comeback singles of the year” by Neon Gold.

Featuring guests such as Chicago hip-hop artist Vic Mensa and label-mate up-and-comer Tinashe, the “Somebody’s Party” EP is an astounding collection of six tracks offering an exciting glimpse of what’s to come from this young and talented artist.

Erik Hassle is a vocalist and songwriter who combines the emotional heat of classic soul music with the sonic sophistication of 21st century pop.

While Erik’s material has grown both sonically and lyrically, it’s also clear that he has grown personally, finding himself at ease in the studio, writing and recording darker melodies and lyrics that echoed recent life experiences.

Further solidifying Hassle’s ability to write a hook, Shakira released her single “Can’t Remember To Forget You” featuring Rihanna. The track was penned by Hassle earlier this year and is the first official track written by Hassle and sung by another artist.

Currently working on his album, Erik Hassle plans to announce some North American tour dates later this year.
