Ask yourself what makes you come alive and then go do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive”.-Howard Thurman Advice to other creative’s/aspiring artists? Keep going and fuck everyone else. What are you currently listening to/reading/ watching? I’ve been listening to a lot of Iggy Pop lately, reading ‘The Moviegoer’ by Walker Percy. And I’m addicted to watching ‘The Walking Dead’. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Someplace happy. Who is or where does your inspiration come from? Any emerging artists to watch out for? I’m inspired by old album covers and movies. I’m endlessly inspired by the works of David Bellemere, Jonathan Leder, Robert Mapplethorpe, Sam Haskins, William Eggleston. As far as emerging artists, Canyon Casator is an incredibly talented painter based in Brooklyn.
