Adam Dare vndl February 12, 2013 Art, Interview 1 Comment VNDL: Describe your work/process? AD: I do urban contemporary fine street art on canvas. I silkscreen broken-hearted Bunnies on newsprint, outline the heart in red, cut them out, and glue them to walls in various cities, so far New York, LA, Miami, and Berlin. I also fuck with spray paint. What have you been up to recently? (trips, projects, work?) See previous fucking answer. Kidding… I’m currently working on a series of mixed-medium sculptural paintings exemplifying my angst about the current state of America, our police force, and our religious ideologies. I’m reading “The Way of the Superior Man” … I regularly watch David Letterman and Jimmy Fallon. Where do you see yourself in 5 years? I take it a day at a time, living moment to moment. But in 5 years I’ll most likely be living bi-coastally between LA and NY – provided this world doesn’t end before then Who is or where does your inspiration come from? Any emerging artists to watch out for? My inspiration comes from (quote from website “mundane) and the goings-on of the world. Look out for Dennis McNett – I appreciate his work.
