In his own words:

“My art is about Identity, more specifically what we hide behind to keep our identity private. As people we try and give a “good show’ for the crowd so that we are comfortable around the people we have to deal with everyday. The “show” is the mask we wear to hide what we truly are. Sometimes that identity is positive sometimes its negative both are always beautiful. So with my paintings I try and depict the different masks people wear to get along with others.” – Khari Ricks
